It is a shame that many of their own can't find the value in their music and message. But it just shows how far down the gutter the bad in our culture has taken some.

I copped "Phrenology", and as soon as I can find a legal copy for $10 or less, I'm getting "The Tipping Point" as well.

Yea hip hop culture is messed up right now....i have some dvd's of underground hip hop shows in the states...like living legends, some def jux stuff...with mr lif and cannibal ox...and its well known that these artists are the ones producing real hip hop ...and the one on the radio and on tv are fake clowns...but when you see these shows in chicago ...ny ...and la....on my dvd's ...the majority of the audience is white...which is cool ..im just wondering why most of the black kids are listening to all the fake rap and garbage???

It seems that the hip hop group Black Eyed Peas is another group that is not well accepted by the black audience. They had a hit song during the summer of 2003 called "Where Is the Love?" and they are currently scoring well with the hit "Let's Get It Started." I never heard an urban station playing any of their music. I only hear their music on CHR stations.
