Drugs were not the factor to his death. I personally knew ODB, and it was very sad to hear of this news, very shocking untimely fashion. It was the day after a Wu-Tang Clan reunion show in the tri-state area, with all the members. ODB was a great man, a lot of people don't know of his ideas. He heavily studied the lessons of his religion (5% Nation) until his very last day. I attended his funeral, and he will be missed, not only in hip hop, but in life. P.E.A.C.E.

Died at a very early age (36). No cause of death given.
Something killed him. What was it?
Even if drugs were not the primary cause we all know he had a drug problem that no doubt weakened his body and probably left him vunerable to whatever killed him if it was not drugs.
Directly or indirectly the drugs played a role in his death.
Till I hear otherwise we all know a major issue in his life was substance abuse. Even if he kicked it his body was obviously broken down from prior abuse.
The message remains the same things like drugs are best never touched.
